Scan Types

All scan scripts make use of ClamAV commands in order to scan and return the results of each scan.

Quick Scan

Performs a scan of a premade list of directories on your device where viruses are commonly found.

Full Scan

Performs a scan of your entire system. This can take quite a while to complete depending on the amount of files stored on your device.

Custom Scan

Performs a scan of a directory or file specified by the user. The time to complete depends on the size of the directory scanned.

Scheduling

The scheduler allows the user to specify a scan type to perform at a specific date or time. For example, you can specify if you want a Quick Scan every day at 12:00 A.M.

Options: Day of week and time of day.

Scan Type: Specify the type of scheduled scan between Full Scan, Quick Scan, or Custom Scan (which will need a specified folder/drive).

Scheduler Frequency: Once a day, Weekly, or Monthly.
